DAILY TOUR Perfume Pagoda
At 07.00, you will have a 2 hours car ride to Duc Wharf. From here you will have a cruise on the Yen stream to Perfume mountain, with a break to visit the “registration” pagoda. The rowing boat journey takes more than 1 hour through the amazing landscape of mountains, water and rice fields. Upon arrival, you will take a more a 1.5 hour walk up the steps to the top of the Perfume mountain to visit the Huong Tich pagoda. After exploring the cave, acknowledged as one of the most beautiful limbstone caves in Northern Vietnam, you will descent back to the whalf and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you have opportunity to visit Thien Tru, the biggest and the most worth seeing Pagoda in the area, before coming to the wharf for the boat trip to the Duc Wharf, where your vehicle is waiting. You will arrive back in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Note: The Perfume Pagoda’s festival begins from the middle of the second lunar month and lasts until the end of the third lunar month (March and April), attaching a great numbers of Buddhist pilgrims. Night 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai

8:00 pm – Mini bus pick up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station.
9:00 pm - Train depart and sleep the nights on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.

Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)
We will pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, to take you up to the township of Sapa which takes approx one hour arriving at.
08:00am – After breakfast and a morning shower, we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where we can admire magnificient landscape. Here you will discover the wonderful scenery of Hoang Lien moutain ranges amd meet Black H’mong tribes. Trek through terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa River, where we can here a nice swim.
We then cross the suspension bridge towards the Zay village, arriving at Ta Van, where we have dinner cooked on a wood fire enjoying the company and hospitality of our Zay family and homestay overnight.
Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sa pa (B, L, D)
Enjoy mountainous landscape with your sunrise coffee, then enjoy a delicious breakfast ready to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities.
Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit Supan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus back to Sapa. Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.

Night 3: Lao Cai – Ha Noi

05:00 am – Arrive at Tran Quy Cap station (Hanoi) for Bus transfer to hotel.

Night train Hanoi - Lao Cai.
You will be picked up at your hotel 1 hour before train departure for transfer to the train station. Night train (soft sleeper with A/C) to Lao Cai. The night train leaves at 19.45 or 20:10 PM
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat - Sapa.(B/L/D)
You will be picked up from Lao Cai station and have a shared bus to Sapa . Check-in hotel to have a shower and relax. Now you have time to walk around Sapa town to see some small market in the area. In the afternoon, you take a short Treking tour to Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’Mong people. H'Mong is one of the biggest and poorest minority group in Sapa. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing. Return to Sapa town. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van.(B/L/D)
After breakfast in the hotel, trekking to Lao Chai village. On the way, you will stopover for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, you continue your trek to Ta Van village to visit Zay people. Zay is fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green. Dinner and stay overnight on stilt house.

Day 3: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa.(B/L/D)
Today we will spend time to walk to Giang Ta Chai village where you can see Red Dao people.The women of Red Dao have very colorful red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eye brows because a hairless face is considered by the the Red Dao people to be very beautiful. Stop over for lunch. A Jeep pick you up from Giang Ta Chai to Sapa. Check-in hotel to take a shower. A shared bus will take you to train station. Night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi early morning

Night 1: Hanoi - Laocai
19h30: Our guide pick up you from your hotel to go to rail way station B, catch the night train for Lao Cai. You will have a good sleep with the solf sleeper berth.

Day 1: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Tavan (B,L,D)
7h30: after breakfast, we start with 6 km walking down to the South East of Sapa alongside Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, trek 2 km down to Lao Chai village, take picture of paddle field and visit minority house and school. Have picnic lunch in the Black H’Mong house, discover their daily life style and enjoy landscape.
13h00: continue your trekking to Tavan village, swimming at Muong Hoa stream, enjoy beautiful land scape and visit houses of Dzay minority people.
18h00: have dinner in the house of Dzay minority people then free to visit some houses and have talk with local people. Home stay in the village.

Day 2: Giang Ta Chai - Supan - Sapa (B,L,D)
7h30: after breakfast, we start with 5 km trekking throught bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village, have break at the “ bridge” then visit Red Dzao minority houses. After that, continue trekking to Supan village .
12h30: have picnic lunch in the village then jeep back to Sapa at 14h00, check in hotel.
Afternoon: you are free to walk around Sapa, visit the Sapa market, the church or buy souvenirs at shops around.
18h00: have dinner in the restaurant with local speciality food.
In the evening, you are free to go to “ love market” in front of the church( from 20h00 pm - 23h00 pm)

Day 3: Sapa – Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L,D)
After breakfast, 2 hours morning road trip by bus to Bac Ha market. Visit the market with minority people from many different villages.
12h00: have lunch in the restaurant, then go to visit a palace of H’mong Lord. After that, trek around Ban Pho village of Flower H’mong people.
15h00: bus ride down hill to Lao Cai station, have dinner in the restaurant, and then get on the night train, soft sleeper back to Hanoi.
5h00 a.m: arrive Hanoi. Tour ends.

Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Ha noi – Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Pu Luong(L,D)

Pick you up from your hotel at 8.00am. Transfer to Mai Chau, riding on a very nice road and passing through spectaculars on routes. Arrival in Poom Coong village at about 11.30am, welcome drink with Vietnamese green tea then take a short walk around the village to visit Thai people, then lunch will be served here on traditional house-on-stilt. By 2:00 pm, leaving here for our short ride (15 min) to Ma river. Boating is our next adventure. We are rafting on the boat for about 30 min, and then we start our walk for 2 hours through beautiful villages, hill sides, magnificent rice paddies, water wheels… And one of the highlight on this walk is to experience the everyday life and culture White Thai people and stay in their traditional house on stilts as honored guests. Again boat ferries across the river, we hit the road to Sai village (also the Thai) where we will be having dinner and stay at their traditional house on stilts.

Day 2: Pu Luong - Mai Chau - Hanoi (B,L)

The daily life of the locals here starts early, it will be interesting for you to get up and take part in their activities to experience their lovely colorful life (this is sure with fun!). Breakfast at their house, then at 8 am start our trek inside the Nature Reserve of Pu Luong to visit Duom untouched village. After 3 hours walk, driver will pick us up and transfer to Poom Coong hill tribe for lunch. We should leave Mai Chau at 2.30 pm and return Hanoi by 6 p.m. Finish our journey at your hotel. Cuc Phuong national park (February 29, 2012)

Cuc Phuong National Park is located in Ninh Binh Province, in Vietnam's Red River Delta. Cuc Phuong was Vietnam's first national park and is the country's largest nature reserve. The park is one of the most important sites for biodiversity in Vietnam.

Depart for Ninh Binh province.
On arrival trekking in the jungle to discover the wild life and admire some rare trees reach 1,000 years of age.
Picnic lunch.
PM: Return to the Park Center, visit the “Cave of Early Man” and the Endangered Primate Rescue Center.

Ba be Lake tour (February 29, 2012)

Day 1: Hanoi - Bac Can (L/D)
Depart at 7: 00 am from your hotel for Ba Be National Park, which is located in limestone Karst Mountains. Babe means "Three Lakes". In fact, there is only one large lake with three different sections. Take a short break for a visit to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen city. Then we stop for lunch in Bac Can town in a small restaurant. Arrival in Ba Be. Easy trek in National Park along lake's side to Pac Ngoi village, the village of Nung hill tribe, check-in the home stay and dinner with local food here. Overnight in the village.
Day 2: Ba Be lake - Full Day Sight Seeing (B/L/D)
Breakfast, then the whole day visiting the beauty of the area on the local canoes (rafts) gliding along the river and through the pretty caves. We get lunch served near the waterfall after visiting it.

After lunch, we canoe our hearts out into the tranquil Ba Be lakes famous for its majesty. The following time is for swimming and trekking and if you choose to visit the ethnic minorities.
Dinner then free time to learn about the local people. Overnight homestay.
Day 3: Ba Be - Bac Can - Hanoi (B/L)
More canoeing then breakfast served by the lakes, swimming. Leave for Hanoi by 10.00 am, lunch on the way at noon. Arrive at hotel by 5.30 p.m.
